Question by Dr. Snark: Yahoo Search – Trending: Jay Leno?
When I open Y!A on my mobile phone, there is a little purple link at the top that says “Trending: _______.” When I click it it takes me to Yahoo Search.
Nine times out of ten, the link says Trending: Jay Leno. Really? Are people really searching for Jay Leno every day on Yahoo? Who are these people?
The only other explanation I can come up with is that either Yahoo thinks that Jay Leno is still relevant so they program his name to pop up regularly, or somebody is asleep at the wheel and hasn’t taken Jay Leno out of the ad since he was last trendy, probably about 10-15 years ago. Which is it?

Sometimes I think they show someone trending then the rest of the people search to see why people are trending them ..so it grows and grows.
There was this headline on Monday
Jay Leno tapped as ‘Man of the Year’ by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Club
Other than this..didnt see much.
